This town is called Licking! I think it was one of our favorite town names! :)

A road sign about the 'Licking Church'

We were so close to Success we thought we better check it out!!

And, the drive was beautiful on the way to Success!

Tada, Success. It was kind of a let down.
We were in 'Misery' and we drove out of our way to find Success.

The cute little post office.
We mailed some of Steven's graduation thank you's from here. We thought that it was appropriate to mail them from Success. :)

5/24/09 Driving across Iowa

A cool old building

I like how my yarn and needles are reflected in the glass

American flags... One of my favorite sites!
This was in some little town that advertised having a 'great downtown' so we thought we'd drive through and check it out.
All the flags were flying for Memorial day which was the next day.

I love the contrast of all the wedding dresses to the old brick building
